David Borins grew up in Toronto and moved to Vancouver in 1992 to pursue an undergraduate and then a law degree at UBC. David has been practicing law for over 20 years. He articled and then practiced at a large BC firm (Farris LLP) for a decade, and then became an equity partner at a national firm (Heenan Blaikie).

In 2012, seeking more autonomy over his professional life and greater flexibility in choosing his own clientele and cases, David founded Borins & Company. His practice includes labour law, employment law, administrative law, and litigation. He has significant experience representing individuals, unions, societies, non-share corporations, and unincorporated associations.
